Meet Your Wedding Planner

Sandy Perla, Founder and Lead Planner of Occasions by Sandy. With more than 14 years of experience in the wedding and events industry, I bring a hands-on understanding of what it takes to plan and execute a wedding from beginning to end. My experience began in 2012 with a local catering company, where I worked closely with couples through tastings, menu planning, event setup, and wedding-day logistics.

I later moved into venue management in Leesburg, working alongside couples, planners, caterers, and other wedding professionals. Those years gave me a strong understanding of not only the planning side of weddings, but also everything happening behind the scenes to make a wedding day run smoothly.

In 2020, I launched Occasions by Sandy Perla full-time. Today, with an experienced team by my side, we help couples throughout Virginia, DC, and Maryland navigate wedding planning with organization, personal attention, and dependable support—from the early decisions through the final moments of wedding day.

My goal is simple: to make sure you can enjoy the experience of getting married without feeling responsible for managing everything around you.
