Meet Sandy

Hello! I’m Sandy Perla, founder and lead planner of Occasions by Sandy. Thank you so much for considering my services for such an important role on your wedding day or special occasion. I know choosing the right planner is a big decision, so you may be wondering… why me?

My journey in the wedding industry began in 2012 with a local catering company, where I gained hands-on experience with tastings, menu design, and the detailed setup and breakdown of weddings. That foundation taught me how events truly operate behind the scenes and how to anticipate challenges before they arise.

I later worked as an Event Manager for a venue in Leesburg, supporting brides and collaborating closely with vendors, while also learning from experienced wedding planners. In 2020, I took a leap of faith and launched Occasions by Sandy full-time. Since then, my business has continued to grow, and I was honored to be named Best of Loudoun County in 2023.

With a hands-on, personalized approach, I serve as more than a planner, I’m a dedicated partner committed to making your wedding day seamless and well-executed from start to finish. I look forward to connecting with you!
