"A little about me"

I was born in El Salvador, Raised in Virginia ~ proud mother of 6 year old twins and 21 year old young man ~ I'm also a realtor and love to work with newlyweds ~ dying to plan your destination wedding ~

" The most successful event is the one that achieves your goals, and exceeds your expectations. That's my commitment to you as your planner"    

Occasions was born when I decided there was no reason why I shouldn't be doing what I love for a living. I took a leap of faith and quit my 9 to 5 to become a full time wedding planner.  It was the best decision I made, and I never looked back.  I've  been blessed with amazing clients, the support of family, friends and other fellow colleagues in the industry. 


As your Wedding planner, I am committed to the utmost level of professionalism. With over a decade of experience in different areas of Wedding and Special Events Coordination, I know how many details go into executing a successful event.  Having worked behind the scenes in different capacities puts me at a unique advantage as I truly understand event logistics and vendor management. I will always go the extra mile to ensure your event and the planning process is enjoyable and most importantly, stress free! 

Watching a bride right before she's getting ready to walk down the aisle always creates happy tears.  Being part of such a special moment is definitely my WHY.  I truly crave and enjoy the planning process from start to finish. My reward is knowing my couples, their guests and family members get to enjoy this time of celebration. 

Create a "mood board" of what your ideal wedding day would look like if there were no restrictions. A mood board will create a clear picture for you and your planner to help achieve your end goal. 


Next, know your budget!! Most of us are working with a defined budget and sticking to it may be challenging if you don't have professional help guiding you and helping you explore your best options. As your planner, I'll make sure we stay on track. 


Lastly, keep your sense of humor. Planning an event is an inherently stressful project,  so any opportunity to get a different perspective and keep things light is going to help you.
